It’s been a minute, and it hast been because of lack of stuff to post, I just have been too busy to maintain this thing. Typical. My last post was after LDT had released our targets, and since then, we have appeared on G4, been stocked in the largest gun stores in the Northwest, and had Malcom McDowell personally use our targets for practice. (There is evidence! I will post later!)
I’m not sure where and how far LDT will go, but I do know it has been great fun so far and if anything has really inspired me to work on more illustrative projects. I’m currently working with an awesome dude and writer on a graphic novel project, which if everything goes as planed will be available nationwide. As more things materialize, I’ll let you know more details, i’ll just let it be known that working with a competent, NEH, incredibly talented writer on a project is a real treat.
I am also in the process of taking a screenplay I have been messing around with for the last two years, and developing it into either a comic series or graphic novel. Maybe a series of novels would be great? We’ll see. Above is a sample. Really inspired by the indie press lately, and have focused in on a very specific style and mood that I think indie comics are the best at representing.
We had the Almost Musical premiere at the Performing Arts Center in Newport. A tremendous crowd of great people packed the place to capacity and the amount of support and good vibes provided an exhilarating experience for us. Now on to the festival circuit!
Any who, thanks for checking out my post. I really appreciate the support. Keep positive thoughts shooting this way this week, we find out if Almost Musical is accepted in the Portland International Film Festival. Cheers.
